Q. How do I place an order?
You can order online, or by fax, or by phone:

A. Ordering ONLINE - it's easy and straight forward

  • STEP 1:
    To place your order with Classic Drugstore type the name of the medicine you require in the search box and click 'SEARCH' to locate your medicine.

  • STEP 2:
    Click on the 'BUY' button alongside the product you wish to order. Adjust the quantity you require if necessary and 'UPDATE CART'. Repeat this process for any other products you wish to order.

  • STEP 3:
    When you have finished adding products to your cart - Click the CONTINUE button on the shopping cart. You will then be taken through the questions required to complete your order, including the supply of your credit card details. All this information is entered and stored in a secure section of the Classic Drugstore site.
    NB: At the end of the ordering process a ‘Thank You’ screen indicating you have completed your order will be displayed showing your order number and an automatic order confirmation will be sent to your email address.

PRESCRIPTION REQUIREMENTS

Q. Is a prescription required when I order your prescription products?

A. Yes – Classic Drugstore requires you to provide a prescription before our licensed pharmacy can ship your order.

At the end of the ordering process a screen indicating you have completed your order will be displayed showing your order number. Simply fax or email your prescription to us with your order number.

The following conditions must be met and agreed to before any prescription item can be purchased through Classic Drugstore:

  1. The prescription medication is for personal use
  2. You complete all required details in the order form
  3. You supply a prescription from your Doctor
  4. The prescription medication is not a controlled or scheduled substance (ie: A narcotic product or habit forming product.)

Q: Do I need a prescription to buy your OTC products?

A: No – OTC products do not require a prescription.

Q: Should I send my prescription with my order form?

A: Yes. Prescriptions and order forms should be faxed together. Our supplier cannot process or ship the order if one arrives without the other.

Q: Can my doctor fill in and send/fax in the order form and prescriptions for me?

A: Yes, your doctor can send in your prescriptions and order form if you wish, or you can do this yourself.

Q: Is there an order quantity limit?

A: Yes - Purchase of three months supply (100 days) is the maximum that can be ordered at any one time for any one product. If your prescription is for more than this then you can purchase those as refills when you want to. You do not have to wait three months before ordering your next three month supply.

Q: Is it possible to supply all of the information required to get my first order through the website?

A: Yes and no. You can supply all of the information required online, in the order form. However you will still be required to provide your prescription(s) before we can ship your order. Please ensure that the writing is clear and legible. This will help avoid delays in the processing and dispatch of your order.

Q: Does my doctor need to know I am ordering from Classic Drugstore?
A: No, however one of our pharmacist suppliers may need to phone your doctor for further information or clarification of information regarding the product ordered.

Q: Are online prescriptions available from Classic Drugstore?

A: No! It is not advisable to purchase products from online pharmacies that offer online prescriptions. We do not offer online prescriptions.

Q: I am ordering a prescription for a minor. Do I place the order under my name or under the name of the person who is prescribed the medicine?

A: Complete all the information in the name of the person who will be taking the prescription medication. It is the person's information we need to safely fill their prescription. The place where your name would appear is under billing information.

Q: Are prescription labels regarded as full prescriptions?

A: No. A copy of the prescription written by your doctor must be sent to us before an order can be processed. If you only have a label, this can be supplied, but your order may be delayed while we check the details of the prescription with your doctor before processing your order.

PAYMENT

Q. Are the product prices shown on Classic Drugstore in US Dollars?

A. Yes. All product prices shown on Classic Drugstore are in US dollars.

Q. Are there any additional costs when ordering from Classic Drug Store?

A. No, not from Classic Drugstore. All prescription review and dispensing costs are covered in the price of the product. The price you pay will be the price of the product ordered and the US$9.50 freight charge per order. However, please note that some USA banks may charge a small international transaction fee to your account (if this happens please let us know). And some UK customers have experienced a customs charge payable to receive their order.

Q: Can I use my American insurance plan?

A: Unfortunately insurance plans cannot be accepted as we have no association with insurance companies. However some customers have successfully used the Classic Drugstore order confirmation/invoice to support a claim from their insurance company. An order confirmation showing full details of the order is automatically emailed to the customer when an order is placed.

Q: What payment options do I have?

A: Mastercard, Visa and American Express are accepted for payment.

Q: When do you bill my credit card?

A: When you place your order your credit card completes an authorization process but will not be charged until your prescription is received and has been approved for processing.

Q: Will I receive an invoice when I place an order and what is listed on the invoice?

A: Yes, all customers receive an automatic invoice as an order confirmation when an order is placed. When your order is shipped an order confirmation is included showing the products ordered.

Q: Are all Classic Drugstore products less expensive than elsewhere?

A: Discount prescription medicines are usually less expensive from Classic Drug Store. However, if you find a lower price for the same product by another PharmacyChecker accredited online pharmacy then please contact us to receive a price match verification. Competitor promotions and specials are excluded from this offer and the competitor must have the product in stock.

Q: What is the window that pops up asking for additional personal/security information after I place my credit card details online to complete my order?

A: This is a new service created by your credit card provider called 3-D secure. Please don’t be concerned if this happens when you are completing your online order. DELIVERY

Q. What does your Delivery Guarantee provide?

A. Delivery is guaranteed; or your money back, provided the delivery details you supplied when ordering were correct. If your order does not arrive by day 21 after shipment your order will be resent at our cost or the amount charged for your order will be refunded.

Q. What are the shipping charges?

A. For ALL orders with a total goods value of over US$100, SHIPPING will be FREE. For orders with a Total Goods value less than US$100, including orders for multiple products, there is a standard $9.50 delivery charge.

Q. What method is used for shipment of orders?

A. Orders are shipped via International Airmail. If you need information about the status of your delivery please contact us.

Q. What is the Delivery Timeframe?

A. Delivery time varies depending on destination, the postal service load and weather conditions at the time of mailing. The standard time for delivery to customers is between 15-20 days. Also customers need to be aware that delivery times can be extended due to the additional mail load over the Christmas-New Year period (Dec-Jan) and in the US due to Homeland security inspections. It is advisable to order at least 30 days in advance to ensure you receive your medicines when you need them.

Q. How quickly are orders shipped?

A. Orders are dispatched within 48 - 96 hours of receiving them during normal business hours subject to receipt of your faxed prescription. Normal business hours are Monday to Friday (except public holidays). Orders received after 1:00 PM EST Friday and over the weekend will be processed the following business day.

Q. What countries don’t you ship too?

A. Orders received from countries with unreliable mail systems cannot be processed. These countries include those in Asia, South and Central America, Africa, and in the Middle East. Some countries will not allow the importation of prescription medicines for personal use. These include Ireland, Finland, Iceland, Canada, Taiwan and Mexico. Unfortunately because of this fact orders from these countries will be automatically cancelled.

Q. Do you ship to APO addresses?

A. Our suppliers do not ship to APO delivery addresses. However, if you provide a normal delivery address in the US or UK, we will be able to process your order.

Q. Will you ship orders by overnight courier?

A. No. International couriers are not be used as this can cause unnecessary administration and delays.

Q. What if my order does not arrive?

A. The risk of orders getting lost in the international mail system is very low and Classic Drugstore provides a delivery guarantee – if your order goes missing in transit and has not reached you within 21 days of being shipped then we will resend the order at our cost (provided the delivery details you supplied when ordering were correct) or will credit the full charge for the order – the choice is yours. Q: Can a family member's order be combined in the same shipment to help me save on the freight charge?

A: Yes. Members of the same household can combine products ordered in the same package for one shipping charge of $9.50. If you want your packages shipped together please email us your instructions after completing your orders informing us of the order numbers to be shipped together. We will make the necessary adjustment to your shipping charge.

Q: Can my prescription drug be shipped to my doctor’s clinic?

A: Yes - but it is not required. Classic Drugstore is an online pharmacy that deals directly with customers for their prescription drugs. Almost without exception, customers request that their prescription drugs be mailed to their homes.

Q: Do I get charged a shipping charge for each prescription?

A: No. For ALL orders with a total goods value of over US$100, SHIPPING will be FREE. For orders with a total goods value of under US$100, including orders for multiple products, there is a standard US$9.50 delivery charge. The shipping charge applies to each order not each prescription.

Q. How can I refill an order?

A. Requests for refills can be made by phoning, faxing or emailing Classic Drug Store. When you contact us provide your previous order number and request that a refill be shipped. Make sure to include your full name, last order number and phone number when ordering refills.

Q: Is a new order form required when my refills have run out?

A: No. We hold your details permanently on our secure database. You only need to contact us to request a refill and we will do the rest for you. When refills available on your prescription have run out you will have to supply a new prescription. And a new prescription will be needed if you have a change in your medical circumstances or prescription information.

Q: How long do refill orders take to arrive?

A: Refills will take approximately 15-20 days for delivery.
